Joanne Clague

Joanne is Liverpool School of  Tropical Medicine’s inaugural Chief Operating Officer. She has a wealth of high-level experience gained within the HE and public sectors and through a number of non-executive roles. A former Director for Cheshire and Merseyside for the North West Ambulance Service, she has previously been Director of Operations at both the Universities of Liverpool and Manchester and more recently was Registrar and Chief Operating Officer of Queen’s University Belfast.  As Chief Operating Officer Joanne leads LSTM’s Professional Services functions and has responsibility for institution-wide operational planning and management.
